Front: Portrait of General Manuel Belgrano (3 June 1770 – 20 June 1820) an Argentine economist, lawyer, politician, and military leader. He took part in the Argentine Wars of Independence and created the Flag of Argentina. He is regarded as one of the main liberators of the country.

Back: The National Flag Memorial (Spanish, Monumento Nacional a la Bandera) in Rosario, Argentina, is a monumental complex built near the shore of the Paraná River. It was inaugurated on June 20, 1957, the anniversary of the death of Manuel Belgrano, creator of the Argentine flag, who raised it for the first time in an island on the opposite shore of the river on February 27, 1812.

The note has a watermark: Arms.

The Krause 2010 Catalog states that there are 2 signature varieties and 2 series A, B. There are also varieties without colored threads in paper.

Following standard Pick numbering that is used for other countries in the Krause catalog the pick numbers should be:

Back: Iguazu Falls in the center of note. Iguazu Falls are waterfalls of the Iguazu River located on the border of the Brazilian State of Paraná and the Argentine Province of Misiones. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The Iguazu River starts at the city of Curitiba and runs for the most part of the course in Brazil and at the end at the border of Brazil and Argentina.

The note has a watermark: Arms. There are 2 Series D and E.

Front: General José de San Martin at right. José de San Martín (c. 1778 – 17 August 1850), was an Argentine general and the prime leader of the southern part of South America's successful struggle for independence from Spain.

Back: Monument to the Army of the Andes, on the summit of Cerro de la Gloria. This monument is located in the Plaza Independencia in Mendoza, Argentina.

The Krause 2010 Catalog states that there are 4 signature varieties and series A-D. The varieties with the different watermarks and colored threads in the paper was listed but the signature varieties are not listed.
